EDU 651 Class so far....Dec 7th

Hello all.

This class has really been challenging for me. I have had to really play with websites in a short amount of time. Also, the paper writing is something I REALLY have to get used to.

At work I have to give short consice answers. At school I have to elaborate (and site) information and then I feel like I am saying to much.

We are in week 4 and I think this was the most difficult week. It really tied everything together.

Week 2 of EDU 651

This is my third class and my second week of EDU 651 and wow have I learned a lot. I thought when I was going to start my Masters in Learning and Technology I was going to use nothing but technology, but I was wrong. There is so much more to remember. Asynchronous/Synchronous, Wiki, blog, tweet, Moodle, visual learner, audio learner, learning styles and the list goes on and on.

With my current assignment we have to create a blog and have our twitter account attached. NEW FOR ME! LOL I thought they were two separate entities but again. I learned something new! I am having a blast learning new things and so far this class is not disappointing in the "thinking" department. Instead of doing rote papers we get to "do" things. Critical thinking is very much alive in this class.

This is my first time actually keeping up with a blog so let's see how this goes.
